成果简介NOVELTY - Manufacturing nano hydroxyapatite (nHAp) involves providing calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2) and tricalcium phosphate (Ca3P2O8) in ratio of 1:3 and processing by subjecting to ball milling to obtain phase pure nHAp maintaining vital calcium/phosphorus (Ca/P) molar ratio of 1.56-1.68. USE - Method for manufacturing nano hydroxyapatite for enabling nanofertilizer formulation by conbining phase pure nHAp with urea for better absorption of urea by plants and providing natural minerals of phosphorous and calcium to plants (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple, reproducible, and large-scale production of phase pure nHAp by maintaining vital Ca/P molar ratio of 1.56-1.68 that typically belongs to a hexagonal crystal structure having two primary crystal planes of a and c-plane with average particle size of 87 nm.
