Scanning system includes a server, a personal computer and a scanner, wherein a scanning component is installed on the personal computer, which enables to control the scanning process from a browser, as well as recording files into the memory of a personal computer, and a client-server application is located on the server, which enables to receive and store scanned documents in a database located on the server, wherein the client part of this application forms an interface in the browser which enables a user of a personal computer to interact with both the server and the scanning component. USE - Data processing.
