| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology, and can be used for prediction of response to perioperative chemotherapy in stage II-III gastric cancer. DNA is recovered from patient’s venous blood leukocytes. A polymorphic variant of the CHEK2 Ile157Thr gene is determined using a polymerase chain reaction, followed by detection of amplification products by agarose gel electrophoresis. If observing carriage of heterozygous genotype Ile/Thr, a favourable response to perioperative chemotherapy in stage II-III gastric cancer is predicted. USE - Medicine.
