DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the herbal toothpaste formulation, comprising: (a) preparing a lyophilized powder of fenugreek seeds mucilage as toothpaste base material, comprising: (a1) washing fenugreek seeds with double distilled water thoroughly and then drying in hot air oven at 400-500℃ for 3-5 hours; (a2) partially crushing 40-100 g dried seeds by mixer grinder; (a3) soaking the crushed seeds in 250-500 ml of double distilled water for overnight; (a4) extracting the mucilage from swelled seeds by a muslin cloth; (a5) storing the extracted mucilage at -20℃ for lyophilization; (b) drying leaves and seeds at 45℃, grinding them into powder form, and combining the powdered mucilage obtained from fenugreek seeds with the dried leaf powder; (c) mixing many liquid oils with the powdered mixture and grinding to form a semi-solid mixture; and (d) incorporating a carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and glycerine base medium into the semi-solid mixture and grinding to achieve a toothpaste-like appearance.
