Levels of pyruvic acid and 3-hydroxybutyric acid in urine are assessed. If the level of pyruvic acid is below 30.52 mmol/mol creatinine, and 3-hydroxybutyric acid is below 3.017 mmol/mol creatinine, sarcopenia is diagnosed. USE - Medicine.
