成果简介NOVELTY - Invention relates to metallurgy and can be used in casting small-sized ingots from aluminium and its alloys. Method of continuous casting of ingots from aluminium or its alloys on casting conveyor includes supply of melt into open moulds of casting conveyor through continuously rotating casting wheel. Casting wheel is preheated to temperature of 180-300 °C, and its inner working surface is coated with a non-stick coating with fractional composition of the filler in range of 45-100 mcm. When melt is fed into moulds, a cladding layer-skull is formed on the inner working surface of the casting wheel due to crystallization of the supplied melt, at least during the first revolution of the casting wheel. USE - Metallurgy. ADVANTAGE - Preventing or minimizing ingress of oxide slag inclusions formed in continuously rotating casting wheel at the stage of melt pouring onto the surface and into the ingot body formed in the mould. 6 cl, 5 dwg, 1 ex, 2 tbl
