| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Preparing mosquitocidal activity exhibiting carrier oil-essential oil blend nanoemulsion-coated mosquito dunks comprises: (a) preparing carrier oil-essential oil nanoemulsions by: (a1) blending essential oils consisting of clove oil, cinnamon oil, eugenol and neem oil and carrier oil consisting of coconut oil by applying heat to form carrier oil blend essential oil; (a2) adding Tween(RTM: Polyoxyethylene 20 sorbitan monooleate) 80 to the carrier oil blend essential oil and stirring and adding distilled water under stirring condition followed by ultra sonication to form carrier oil-essential oil nanoemulsion; (b) preparing carrier oil-essential oil blend nanoemulsion-coated mosquito dunks by: (b1) assembling cleaned and sun-dried coconut shell pieces in circular shape to form layer A and applying epoxy resin over the layer A and allowing to cure to form epoxy resin coated layer A. USE - Method for preparing mosquitocidal activity exhibiting carrier oil-essential oil blend nanoemulsion-coated mosquito dunks for reducing mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue, malaria, chikungunya. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing mosquitocidal activity exhibiting carrier oil-essential oil blend nanoemulsion-coated mosquito dunks comprises: (a) preparing carrier oil-essential oil nanoemulsions by: (a1) blending essential oils consisting of clove oil, cinnamon oil, eugenol and neem oil and carrier oil consisting of coconut oil by applying heat to form carrier oil blend essential oil; (a2) adding Tween(RTM: Polyoxyethylene 20 sorbitan monooleate) 80 to the carrier oil blend essential oil and stirring and adding distilled water under stirring condition followed by ultra sonication to form carrier oil-essential oil nanoemulsion; (b) preparing carrier oil-essential oil blend nanoemulsion-coated mosquito dunks by: (b1) assembling cleaned and sun-dried coconut shell pieces in circular shape to form layer A and applying epoxy resin over the layer A and allowing to cure to form epoxy resin coated layer A; (b2) assembling cleaned and sun-dried coconut shell pieces on top of the epoxy resin coated layer A to form layer B and applying the carrier oil-essential oil nanoemulsion on all sides to form carrier oil-essential oil blend nanoemulsion-coated mosquito dunks. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: 1. A mosquitocidal activity exhibiting carrier oil-essential oil blend nanoemulsion-coated mosquito dunks prepared by the method; and 2. a method for preparing mosquitocidal activity exhibiting carrier oil-essential oil blend nanoemulsion-coated mosquito dunks, comprising: (c) preparing carrier oil-essential oil nanoemulsion by: (c1) blending 5 ml essential oils consisting of equal volume of clove oil, cinnamon oil, eugenol and neem oil and 5 ml carrier oil consisting of coconut oil by applying mild heat for 10 minutes to form carrier oil blend essential oil; (c2) adding 5 ml Tween (RTM: Polyoxyethylene 20 sorbitan monooleate) 80 to 1 ml of the carrier oil blend essential oil and stirring for 5 minutes at 600 rpm and making the volume to 50 ml by adding distilled water under stirring condition followed by ultra sonication at 45% amplitude for 15 minutes to form carrier oil-essential oil nanoemulsion; (d) preparing carrier oil-essential oil blend nanoemulsion-coated mosquito dunks by: (d1) assembling 20 g cleaned and sun-dried coconut shell pieces in circular shape using a mould to form layer A1 and applying 6 ml epoxy resin over the layer 1A using fine brush and allowing to cure for 12 hours to form epoxy resin coated layer 1A; (d2) assembling 20 g cleaned and sun-dried coconut shell pieces on top of the epoxy resin coated layer 1A to form layer B1 and applying 10 ml of the carrier oil-essential oil nanoemulsions on all sides to form carrier oil-essential oil blend nanoemulsioncoated mosquito dunks. |
