成果简介	NOVELTY - The system (100) has an elongated supporting frame (102) with a rack supported by a set of supporting rods, that are secured in a field crop. A pest control device (108) is movably supported by the frame through guide wheels through elongated rods (112), where the device moves along the length of the frame for trapping insects. An odorant container is positioned on a collecting chamber, where the container sprays a flavored water periodically to attract the insects. A controller activates a driving unit for moving the device along the frame and providing movement of a piston for insect suction. An illuminating unit positioned on the collecting chamber illuminates for attracting the insects. USE - Integrated pest management system for crop protection. Uses include but are not limited to wheat, cabbage, tomato, potato, soybean, and cotton. ADVANTAGE - The system comprises an integrated pest management device that is provided with a blower, and hence enhancing the crop productivity, and reducing the crop damage, and enhancing the quality and yield of the crop. The system can continuously move across the field and traps insects present in the field for providing crop protection. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for operating an integrated pest management system.
