成果简介NOVELTY - Invention refers to medicine, namely to transfusiology. It can be used for prediction of risk of iron deficiency in blood and its components donors. During the clinical and medical examination of the donors, the predominant type of donations, their number during the last three years, age and haemoglobin level are determined. Then using the obtained data and the presented mathematical formula, the risk of developing iron deficiency is determined. If the target value is equal to or more than 49.6%, a high risk of developing iron deficiency is predicted, and if the value is less than 49.6%, a low risk is predicted. USE - Medicine.
