成果简介NOVELTY - Biodiesel production process from acid oil using high speed homogenizer involves chronological steps of (1) preheating of acid oil; (2) mixing of alcohol and catalyst, esterification using a homogenizer for 60 min; (3) methanol recovery using a rotary flash evaporator, gravity, separation, washing with deionized water; (4) drying of esterified oil, neutralization reaction using a magnetic stirrer; and (5) centrifuging, washing with Dl water, and drying of biodiesel. USE - Biodiesel production process from acid oil using high speed homogenizer. ADVANTAGE - The method provides a maximum yield of greater than 95 %. The method provides energy-efficient, time-efficient and cost-efficient biodiesel production from acid oil. The method involves biodiesel production from acid oil in less reaction time (60 to 90 min) compared to other techniques (5-24 h).
