成果简介NOVELTY - Fabricating de-sodiated sodium-based phosphates as a cathode material of an aluminium (Al)-ion battery involves synthesizing sodium manganese phosphate (NaMnPO4) by combining sodium (Na), manganese (Mn), and phosphate (PO4), de-sodiating NaMnPO4 to remove sodium ions from the NaMnPO4structure, leading to formation of de-sodiated (De-NMP) substance, and preparing the cathode material using the De-NMP substance for the Alion battery, where voids formed in the De-NMP substance upon removing sodium ions from the NaMnPO4structure act as active host sites for intercalation of Al-ions during discharge process of the Al-ion battery. USE - Method for fabricating de-sodiated sodium-based phosphates as a cathode material of an aluminium (Al)-ion battery (Claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides battery with high discharge capacity with excellent cycling stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for aluminum-ion battery, which comprises aluminum anode, a cathode made of de-sodiated sodium-based phosphates; and an insulated separator positioned in between the aluminum anode and the cathode.
