成果简介NOVELTY - Preparing cadmium sulfide (Cds)/Max phase nano composites for photocatalytic mineralization of chiorpyrifos involves adding 1mM thioacetamide, 1mM cadmium acetate dihydrate and 10mL ethylene glycol into a round bottom flask; (ii) refluxing the reaction mixture at 180 °C for 1 hour; (iii) forming of cadmium sulfide (CdS) nanoparticles by the change in color of reaction mixture; (iv) cooling the reaction at room temperature and precipitating with the excess of methanol; (v) drying the precipitate overnight in an oven at 80 °C; (v) taking same amount of 100mg MAX-Phase and different amount of cadmium acetate, thioacetamide; (vi) adding 10ml of ethylene glycol with above mixture in a round bottom flask; (vii) resulting the preparation of nano composites via thermal decomposition approach with varying loading of CdS nanoparticles. USE - Method of preparing cadmium sulfide (Cds)/Max phase nano composites for photocatalytic mineralization of chiorpyrifos used in the agricultural field. ADVANTAGE - The composites has contamination, which is rapidly increased due to the ecosystem imbalance and food disturbance, so the intensive and huge applications have been developed to detect pollution or risky materials from various sources (soil, food, etc.). The combination of optically interesting semiconductor materials like CdS add to their properties, therefore enhancing their efficiency, provides a maximum yield of greater than 95 %. The overcome problems related to overuse of agrochemicals in the ecosystem their remediation using CdS/MAX-Phase nano composites.
