成果简介	NOVELTY - Covalent organic framework adsorbent beads for rhodamine B removal from industrial wastewater, comprises a covalent organic framework of small pore size of 2.9 nm, and having a specific surface area of 2800 m2 /g. The covalent organic framework polymer adsorbent beads are in crystalline form and chemical stability in a wide pH range of 2-12. USE - Covalent organic framework adsorbent beads for rhodamine B removal from industrial wastewater. ADVANTAGE - The fabricated covalent organic framework (COF) is highly crystalline and has a pore size of 2.9 nm with a Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET)-specific surface area of 2800 m2 /g. The efficacy of COF adsorbent beads and pristine COF powder in effectively adsorbing Rhodamine B, achieving complete removal for higher concentrations of Rhodamine B. The COF adsorbent beads offer a sustainable solution for the removal of Rhodamine B from wastewater streams, presenting a promising avenue for mitigating water pollution. The adsorbent beads resulted in the removal of greater than 99 % of Rhodamine B for a wide Rhodamine B solution range (0-150 ppm). The dosage required for the adsorption is 4-10 mg for 20-30 mL of Rhodamine B solution (0-150 ppm) for a pristine covalent organic framework. The dosage for covalent organic framework adsorbent beads is 40-60 mg for 20 mL of Rhodamine B solution (0-150 ppm).
