成果简介	NOVELTY - The method of fabrication of a colored photovoltaic device involves: (i) depositing a colored photonic crystal layer on the back side of a transparent substrate layer; and (ii) preparing a solar cell followed by fabricating solar cell layers under a desired configuration on the other side of the transparent substrate layer. The colored photonic crystal layer includes a multilayer stack of alternate layers of a high refractive index (HRI) material and a low refractive index (LRI) material. The transparent substrate layer is a glass/plastic substrate or a transparent electrode-coated glass/plastic substrate. The deposition of the colored photonic crystal layer on the back side of the bottom transparent substrate layer exhibits zero damage to the rest of the fragile layers of the photovoltaic device. The solar cell is a perovskite solar cells, inorganic, organic, or hybrid solar cells. The desired configuration is an integrated or a mechanically stacked configuration. USE - Method of fabrication of a colored photovoltaic device. ADVANTAGE - The colored photovoltaic device includes a colored photovoltaic device that exhibits converted power conversion efficiency of 40-95% and power conversion efficiency of 6.85-9.51%. The colored photovoltaic device is fabricated from cost-effective, abundant, readily available and stable components. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the colored photovoltaic device, which has the photonic crystal layer, the transparent substrate layer and the solar cell.
