| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Topical hydrogel wound dressing comprises: natural polymeric material composed of sodium alginate and Aloe vera; and piezoceramic NBT-ST-0.04BT microparticles, which are prepared by a solid-state reaction and exhibit a piezoelectric constant (d33*) of 688 pm/V and a maximum electric field-induced strain value (Smax) of 0.424%, where the natural polymeric material further comprises 10 ml sodium alginate solution at 2%; 10 ml poly(vinyl alcohol) solution at 1.5%; 10 ml Aloe verasolution at 2.5%; 1.5 mg/ml NBT-ST-0.04BT microparticles; 10% Poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate; and 10% glycerine. USE - Topical hydrogel wound dressing for promoting wound healing through the generation of electric fields and maintaining a moist, antimicrobial environment, and reducing bacterial growth. No biological data given. ADVANTAGE - The dressing provides a moist wound environment, does not adhere to the wound site, and protects newly formed tissue from destruction; is flexible thus allowing it to closely fit over an uneven wound surface, facilitating penetration at the wound site; exhibits strong water absorption properties, contributing to maintaining an optimal wound healing environment; absorbs moisture, and is easily applied and removed; is biocompatible, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly wound dressing that offers superior mechanical properties, such as flexibility and strong water absorption, while being easy to apply and remove from the wound site; and beneficial for wounds that are slow to heal or at high risk of infection. The NBTST-0.04BT microparticles produce a piezoelectric effect that generates an electric field at the wound site, thus facilitating improved wound healing, exhibit antimicrobial activity, contributing to the inhibition of bacterial growth at the wound site. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the topical hydrogel wound dressing comprising: mixing sodium alginate solution, poly(vinyl alcohol) solution, and aloe vera solution; adding NBT-ST-0.04BT microparticles, Poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate, and glycerine to the mixture; heating the mixture to 60℃ and adding 5 vol.% ammonium persulfate; keeping the mixture on a heating plate at 70℃ for 1 hour, followed by cooling to form the hydrogel. |
