成果简介NOVELTY - Ayurvedic ointment comprises active ingredients comprising 8-12% Cullen corylifolium, 8-12% Cassia tora, 8-12% Raphanus sativus, 8-12% Abrus precatorius, 8-12% Plumbago zeylanica, 8-12% cow urine and 8-12% Cocos nuciferaoil; base ingredients comprising 2-5% bees wax, 1-4% emulsifying wax, 1-3% stearic acid, 0.8-1.5% cetyl alcohol, 1-3% ceto stearyl alcohol, 3-6% isopropyl myristate (IPM), 0.8-3% glycerol mono stearate (GMS), 1-3% paraffin wax, 0.1- 0.9% sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) needle, 0.8-2% glycerin, 1-4% petroleum jelly and 0.8-2% triethanolamine. USE - Ayurvedic ointment for treating vitiligo. No biological data given. ADVANTAGE - The ayurvedic ointment exhibits a statistically significant therapeutic response in the management of vitiligo, exhibits 46.39% reduction in the number of patches, 42.39% reduction in the maximum size of patches, 47.76% improvement in patch coloration, and 32.35% reduction in the vitiligo extent tensity index (VETI), with a p-value < 0.001, indicating a highly significant efficacy in comparison to conventional treatments. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of preparing the ayurvedic ointment, comprising: (a) placing the active ingredients, including Cullen corylifolium, Cassia tora, Raphanus sativus, Abrus precatorius, Plumbago zeylanica, cow urine, and Cocos nuciferaoil in equal parts into a sterile beaker; (b) placing the base ingredients, including 2- 4.25% beeswax, 2.75-5% emulsifying wax, 1.25-4% stearic acid, 1-4% cetyl alcohol, 2.5- 4% ceto stearyl alcohol, 3-6% isopropyl myristate (IPM), 1-3% glycerol mono stearate (GMS), 1-4% paraffin wax, 0.3-0.9% sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), 0-3% glycerin, 1-4% petroleum jelly, and 1-5% Triethanolamine, into another sterile beaker; (c) heating both beakers separately to a controlled temperature of 50-70℃ until the respective ingredients are completely liquefied; (d) combining the liquefied contents of both beakers into a single container to form a unified mixture; (e) stirring the combined mixture vigorously to ensure thorough blending and the formation of a homogeneous ointment; (f) allowing the homogeneous mixture to cool gradually, leading to its natural transformation into an ointment with a stable, semi-solid consistency.
