USE - Insecticidal composition for controlling broad spectrum insect pests in various crops and plants e.g. soybean, tea, tomato, okra, chilli, onion, wheat, tea, groundnut, mango, grapes, chilly, brinjal, chickpea, cabbage, cauliflower, where the insect pests are e.g. Aclerisspp., Adoxophyes spp., Aegeria spp., Agrotis spp., Alabama argillaceae, Amylois spp., Anticarsia gemmatalis, Archips spp., Argyrotaenia spp., Autographa spp., Busseola fusca, Cadra cautella, Carposina nipponensis. ADVANTAGE - The composition is stable synergistic insecticidal composition, is easy to produce on an industrial scale, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly; has good storage stability; promotes plant health and increases plant yield in the field; is environmentally safe and highly safe to the user, possesses broad spectrum bio-efficacy; exhibits knock down effect on insect pests at all developmental stages, with no phytotoxicity and has enhanced shelf life, stability; minimizes the number of applications needed to control a wide range of insect pests appearing at the same time. The synergistic effect of composition was tested against POD borer population in Chick Pea crop. The result showed that the composition (comprising 4.5% chlorantraniliprole, 8% spinosad and 1.5% emamectin benzoate) exhibited improved control of 86.21%.
