An alidade counting and locking device is equipped with a tangential screw with a counting drum (7) with a scale of the angle of rotation with minute divisions and is equipped with a sensor of the angle of rotation of the counting drum installed on its axis of rotation in the form of a second absolute angular converter, and an input of device is connected to the output of a power supply, where the alidade and counting drum rotation angle sensors are connected to the microcontroller through a measurement recording button installed between them in the feedback switching line connected to the outputs of the first and second absolute angular converters and the microcontroller at the input. ADVANTAGE - The accuracy of measuring the altitude of the navigational luminary is increased while random and systemic measurement errors associated with astronomical refraction are simultaneously reduced due to the use of absolute angular converters of the angle of rotation of the alidade and the counting drum under conditions of automatic synchronization of the real-time clock with coordinated universal time (UTC) by taking into account the current conditions for carrying out measurements.
