成果简介NOVELTY - The system (100) has a control unit (101) including a manual mode (102), an auto mode (103) and an artificial intelligence (AI) mode (104). The manual mode allows a user to control solenoid valves for a desired amount of time using switches on a mobile application. The auto mode uses soil moisture sensors placed at beginning and end of a row or column to calculate an average soil moisture level, and controls the valves to enable water flow until the soil moisture reaches a predefined threshold. The microcontroller activates the valves in the AI mode based on a water amount specified by a linear regression model for optimal plant growth. USE - AI-based smart plant watering system. ADVANTAGE - The system ensures a targeted and efficient approach to watering that minimizes water usage while meeting the specific needs of individual plants. The system's adaptability allows scalability for diverse agricultural settings. The system allows watering to be automated based on an average level of soil moisture sensors for each row, so that the auto mode simplifies procedure, thus minimizing human intervention and optimizing water usage. The user is allowed to manually activate or deactivate solenoid valves at their discretion and gives the user total control over watering any row or column of plants.
