成果简介	NOVELTY - The tap has a water inlet for receiving a water supply, and a water outlet for dispensing water. A valve mechanism is configured to control water flow between the water inlet and water outlet. A press sensor is configured to detect a press duration when the water tap is pressed. A control unit is operatively coupled to the press sensor and valve mechanism. The control unit is configured to open the valve mechanism to permit water flow from the water inlet to the water outlet upon detecting the press. The control unit measures the press duration detected by the press sensor, and closes the valve mechanism to stop water flow after a predetermined flow duration that is proportional to the measured press duration. USE - Water tap used for controlling flow of water in domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing applications. ADVANTAGE - The tap allows the user to dispense just the amount of water needed by simply pressing the handle and holding it for the desired duration, thus eliminating wasting of water from a constantly running tap. The integrated electronic control automatically adjusts the flow time based on how long the user presses the handle, thus saving every last drop while also making it easier to keep your sink area clean and dry.
