The control and processing unit recognizes the face if the vitality check has shown that the face being recognized belongs to a living person. The control and processing unit checks the vitality only under the condition that the detected face occupies from 40% to 90% of the frame area. USE - Biometric face recognition terminal. ADVANTAGE - The reliability of face recognition is improved by increasing the reliability of determining the user vitality. The recognizing dummies as the face of a living person are avoided. The terminal prevents unauthorized access using objects such as photographs on a display, printouts, mock-ups that imitate a face.
