成果简介	NOVELTY - The system has a small inertia direct current (DC) motor coupled to an inertia estimating test electric motor for rotating a test motor with same speed of the small inertia DC motor. A voltage sensor senses rise and fall of voltage of the coupled test motor based on input velocity of the DC motor, and generates rising and falling voltage curves. A microcontroller unit analyzes and computes inertia of the coupled test motor based on the rising and falling voltage curves. A digital storage oscilloscope/cathode-ray oscilloscope plots voltage curves/waveform as t-V plot. USE - System for facilitating inertia estimation of electric motors for favoring load matching of motors in an electrical machine i.e. day-to-day life machine. ADVANTAGE - The microcontroller unit analyzes and computes the inertia of the coupled test electric motor based on the rising and falling traced voltage curves and trend of voltage rise with time governed by Eq 7, and estimates the value of motor inertia during rise and fall of the voltage, thus providing a simple system for inertia estimation of unknown motor on the principle of voltage time curve tracing. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for estimating inertia estimation of electric motors.
