USE - Poly herbal formulation used for wound healing (claimed), and having antibacterial action against bacteria found in wounds. ADVANTAGE - The formulation helps in reducing biofilm formation; and increase overall stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of preparation of poly herbal formulation for wound healing, which involves: (i) preparing an aqueous extract from dried leaves of Ormocarpum corchinchinense, aerial roots of Ficus benghalensis, and fruits of Ficus carica; preparing an extract mixture by mixing the extracts in a ratio of 1:1:1; (ii) mixing the extract mixture with 1 millimolar (mM) silver nitrate solution in a ratio of 4:1 to form a solution mixture; (iii) incubating the solution mixture for 24 hours under dark condition at room temperature; (iv) observing a change in color to reddish-brown; and (v) performing centrifugation of the solution and ethanol washes of centrifugates to form the polyherbal formulation.
