成果简介NOVELTY - The torch has a body attached with a nozzle. The body allows first gas stream to flow through the nozzle in a welding region. A shielding attachment is adapted to be disposed on the nozzle. The shielding attachment is provided with a channel defined between an inner surface of the shielding attachment and the nozzle. The channel is adapted to guide a second gas-stream on the welding region to shield the first gas-stream. The body is provided with a first gas inlet adapted to guide the first gas-stream within the nozzle, where the nozzle is a ceramic nozzle. USE - Welding torch for surface treatment of a welding region and a shielding attachment. ADVANTAGE - The welding torch is cost-effective and time-saving, and provides surface-treatment or nitriding of the welding region of the surface proximal to the welded region. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for surface-treating a welding region W by a welding torch.
