成果简介NOVELTY - Device assembled on a base (1) that is a rectangular water tank (2) on which a cylindrical fluoroplastic body is installed and on the upper end of which a water collector with jets (6) is installed, in the center of which a hop cone rod retainer (7) is installed and which has the ability to move and be fixed in the axial direction relative to the water collector, the cavities of the base and the cylindrical body communicate with each other through a drain pipe of a calibrated diameter, and water is removed from the cavity of the base using a drain valve, water enters the water collector from a cylindrical container located on a stand above the collector, and the volume of the base is more than the volume of the container. USE - The device is useful for testing the moisture absorption capacity of freshly harvested hop cones (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The device: is manufacture in simple manner and convenient to use; and allows testing freshly harvested hop cones for moisture absorption capacity from the moment the cone is torn from the vine until the moment it begins to dry.
