| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The self-watering planter in which the efficient use of water for plants is demonstrated. The proper aeration for the soil is provided. The planter is contributed to sustainable and eco-friendly gardening. The different three dimensional (3D)-printing materials are explored and designed to cater different plant types. The overflow mechanism is provided to prevent overfilling of the reservoir and excess water is safely discharged to avoid waterlogging and root rot. USE - Self-watering planter for use by urban dwellers with limited space, busy professionals with limited time for plant care, and novice gardeners who may struggle with maintaining proper watering schedules. ADVANTAGE - The planter reduces the frequency of manual watering and ensures a steady water supply. The planter employs a wicking mechanism, such as a wick or capillary mat, that draws water from the reservoir to the plant roots through capillary action. The planter maintains consistent soil moisture levels, promoting healthier plant growth. The overfilling of the reservoir is prevented, thus ensuring proper water management and preventing waterlogging. The planter is designed for easy assembly, refilling, and maintenance. The planter is CD customized in terms of size, shape, and color. The planter allows for personalization 0- to match individual preferences and specific plant need.
