Disclosed method of modifying a voice consists in the fact that sets of parameters are stored, each of which characterizes notes of the target melody. Singer's voice signal is input synchronously with the musical accompaniment of the notes of the target melody. Voice signal of the performer is processed to create a modified frame of the signal of the output voice of the performer, the notes of the target melody, the contour of the instantaneous frequency of the fundamental tone of the singer's voice and the output contour of the frequency of the main tone. Mixing the modified signal frame of the output voice of the performer with the musical accompaniment of the target melody and outputting them to the loudspeaker, and also, using the central processor, outputting to the monitor screen the notes of the target melody, the instantaneous frequency circuit of the fundamental tone of the singer's voice and the output circuit of the fundamental tone frequency.
