成果简介NOVELTY - The vessel (10) has a liner (12) provided with a main portion. A first end portion is connected at a first end of the main portion. A second end portion is connected at a second end of the main portion. A shell is provided with a set of layers of a composite material in a pre-determined pattern. A boss is connected with the liner and the shell. The liner is provided with a varying cross-section between the first end portion and the second end portion. The liner is provided with pre-determined angle of transition surface between maximum diameter and minimum diameter of the main portion. The main portion is provided with gradually decreasing diameter from a center part of the main portion to the first end and the second end of the main portion. USE - Composite pressure vessel for storing gas and liquid in pressure. ADVANTAGE - The vessel provides ease of optimum winding, allows localized reinforcement in high-stress concentration by providing maximum diameter at a main portion, facilitates customized application of layers to enhance protection in the main portion based on reduction in the end portion of the liner while maintaining volume, minimizes helical wound layup sequence requirements for optimizing stress conditions, utilizes the vessel body for facilitating in varying composite material deposition related to differing stress concentrations, reduces composite material consumption, lowers material cost, enhances volume capacity, improves material usage and performance efficiency by reducing size of end portions, and decreases stress concentration in the vessel body.
