Method for correcting the immune status of hypotrophic piglets with immunodeficiency in the early postnatal period involves the use of an immunomodulator, wherein the immunomodulator used is a preparation Prostimul containing recombinant type I cytokine in 1 ml with activity of not less than 10,000 IU, vitamin C – 50 mg, vitamin A – 25,000 IU, vitamin E – 25 mg, sodium benzoate – 0.25-0.5 mg, sodium sulphate – 1-2 mg, EDTA – 0.05-0.1 mg, non-ionic solvent – 50-100 mg , glycerol – 50-100 mg and water for injections – up to 1 ml, wherein Prostimul is administered twice, on the first and third days of life, intramuscularly in dose of 0.1 ml/kg of body weight.
