A guiding shaft is inserted into the pair of slots. The guiding shaft is configured to assist a cutting saw to move in linear direction through the opening, while performing pruning operations. A scotch yoke assembly engages with a worm gear of the rotating shaft for providing a reciprocating motion to a cutting saw during pruning operations. A telescopic shaft (144) is adjustably connected to a frame (102). The telescopic shaft enables a user to manually operate for providing a variable reach for cutting a branch. USE - Automatic pole pruner for performing tree pruning operations for maintaining health and aesthetics of trees and shrubs in urban environments, orchards, and forests. ADVANTAGE - The pruner integrates simultaneous reciprocating motion and linear cutting feed, while tree pruning, thus enhancing pruning efficiency, and reducing manual effort. The device enhances efficiency of pruning by incorporating simultaneous reciprocating motion and linear cutting feed, thus significantly speeding up cutting process, and reducing the time required for pruning operations. The pruner reduces physical effort by automating reciprocating motion and cutting feed, thus minimizing manual strength needed to cut branches. The pruner improves cutting precision, thus ensuring consistent and clean cuts on branches, and maintaining health and aesthetics of trees and shrubs.
