成果简介NOVELTY - Invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely to fuel cells based on a polymer electrolytic membrane (PEM), and can be used in power plants based on fuel elements used in power engineering, vehicles, aerospace objects, submarine fleet, robotics. Fuel cell temperature is increased to 100-130 °C, which makes it possible to transfer water from liquid to gaseous state and to effectively remove it by gas flow (hydrogen, oxygen or air) for several seconds, wherein fuel cell temperature is increased by switching its operation to high current generation and self-heating mode. For more efficient heating, the electric power generated by the fuel element can be directed to heating the electric heaters built into the bipolar plates of the fuel element.
