The toothed combined winding is made three-phase symmetrical such that each of the windings connected in star and triangle contains Z/2 coils, where number of slots per pole Z/2p is 6/5, and the number of pole pairs is multiple of five. USE - Three-phase electric machine. ADVANTAGE - The machine has increased efficiency due to use of the toothed combined star-delta winding.
