| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Process for fabrication of a biodegradable emissive fibrous mat involves (a) extracting agrowaste fiber, (b) treating the extracted agrowaste fibers with an alkaline solution, (c) compressing the treated agrowaste fibers into a mat, (d) treating the mat with hydrogen peroxide solution and compressing to obtain a translucent mat, and (e) spraying the translucent mat with a spraying solution of a lanthanide organic complex mixed with a polymer solution. USE - Process for fabrication of biodegradable emissive fibrous mat for textile products. ADVANTAGE - The method provides biodegradable emissive fibrous mat based on agrowaste, which is translucent and flexible, and which can be fabricated into different shapes including mat, tubes and torus. The resultant product appears whitish and yield different colors on ultraviolet-blue excitations to yield specific or multiband colors, and subject to the type of lanthanide-based complex. The emissive color of the resulting product may further be modulated on application of carbon soot adsorbed agrowaste fiber. The utilization of agrowaste natural fibers as host to develop thread for photo responsive textile under suitable optical excitation. The incorporation of carbon soot in appropriate ratio imparts a different emissive color shade to the sheet/tube structure. The translucent sheets developed using these emissive natural fibers waste can be used as a surface/substrate/board/panels for display. The method provides transformation of agrowaste into value added textile products which are environmental friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the biodegradable emissive fibrous mat, which comprises 60.3-91.1 wt.% hydrogen peroxide-treated agrowaste fibers, 4-7.8 wt.% mixture of polymer and lanthanide organic complex, and 1.2-35.8 wt.% optional carbon-based absorber. |
