成果简介NOVELTY - The device (100) has four arms (104a-104b) mounted on a mobile base (102). The fourth arm is connected to the third arm, where the fourth arm comprises a tool holder to hold a cutting tool affixed to a shaft driven by a motor and configured to engage in cutting operations. A geared mechanism is configured to move the cutting tool in a direction to tap the rubber tree. A set of sensors (112) is integrated into the mobile base and configured to detect the location of the rubber trees and monitor the cutting process for ensuring precise alignment and cutting depth. A set of geared side shaft motors is configured to operate the arms and the mobile base. A microcontroller (114) controls the operation of the arms, the mobile base, and the cutting tool. USE - Automatic rubber tapping device for extracting latex from a rubber plant in a rubber industry. ADVANTAGE - The device reduces reliance on skilled labor, minimizes risk of damaging the trees, and optimizes latex yield, thus making the device highly suitable for modern rubber plantations. The device ensures smooth and efficient operation of the cutting tool, thus improving accuracy and longevity. The cutting tool is mounted on a tool holder that can be adjusted to various angles, thus providing necessary adaptability to different tree conditions.
