成果简介NOVELTY - The battery pack system has an aluminum container housing pouch cells configured with an air-cooling system and integrated battery management system (BMS) to monitor and control temperature, voltage, and current during operation. A lightweight aluminum container is used for the battery pack, characterized by high thermal conductivity and strength, designed to house battery cells in a compact arrangement to optimize energy density while reducing vehicle weight. An air- cooled thermal management system is designed to dissipate heat generated by the battery during high-performance operations, maintaining optimal temperatures without the need for heavier liquid cooling systems. An advanced BMS monitors the state of each battery cell, controlling charging and discharging, while managing thermal conditions to ensure safety and extend the operational life of the battery. USE - Battery pack system for electric vehicle used in high-performance applications e.g. Formula student racing. Can also be used in race cars and lightweight transportation systems, and stationary energy storage systems, particularly for renewable energy applications. ADVANTAGE - The battery pack system enhances the efficiency, safety, and longevity of battery systems by selecting appropriate materials and cooling techniques, e.g. air-cooling, to maintain operational performance without compromising weight. The system also integrates an advanced battery management system (BMS) for monitoring critical parameters i.e. voltage, current, and temperature to ensure safe operation. The use of lightweight materials i.e. aluminum, in conjunction with an air- cooled system, reduces the overall weight of the vehicle while maintaining optimal thermal conditions for the battery pack. The utilization of advanced BMS technologies helps monitor cell health, manage voltage levels, and ensure the battery operates within safe temperature limits.
