| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The precursor has a cobalt-containing industrial inorganic byproduct by selectively removing non-cobalt metal impurities from a metal sulfate solution by adjusting pH of the solution to 4-5 to precipitate the impurities. The precipitated impurities is separated by filtering and washing the solution of the step to obtain fluoride free solution followed by crystallization to obtain a purified cobalt sulfate as the cobalt precursor. The byproduct is provided with a mixed metal fluoride cake (MMFC). The metal(s) is extracted into sulfate forms to obtain the solution. USE - Extracting cobalt precursor from cobalt-containing industrial inorganic byproduct. ADVANTAGE - The precursor reduces reliance on traditional cobalt mining, which is often associated with environmental degradation and socio-economic challenges. The use of a two-stage leaching and precipitation method allows for efficient separation and recovery of valuable cobalt, while minimizing the use of chemicals and energy, making the process more economically viable compared to conventional methods.
