| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Air-cooled battery thermal management system comprises multiple cells (1) and a box (2) for arranging the cells in upright position in rows in X-Y direction. Multiple cells are arranged in a row and connected electrically in series and multiple rows of cells are arranged and connected electrically in parallel inside the box. Multiple curved strips are inserted vertically width-wise in Z direction between the cells, lengthwise in X direction with a gap in between each strip (3) placed in the same row and for all the rows proceeding towards Y-direction such that the length of each strip cover the full length of the box. An inlet port is set on the inlet surface (7) to pass the cool air there through and an outlet port on the outlet surface (8) to release hot air after absorbing heat from the system into the environment. The system is configured to ensure uniform and increased temperature distribution and heat dissipation by conduction. USE - The air-cooled battery thermal management system is useful for lithium-ion battery pack. ADVANTAGE - The air-cooled battery thermal management system: employs different arrangement of curved strips, rings or rings with fins, tubes, plates with different configurations of inlet positions to enhance the overall cooling efficiency of lithium-ion battery pack; has exceptional energy density, operational efficiency and environmentally-friendly characteristics with extended cycle longevity; manages the maximum temperature in lithium-ion battery pack without high power consumption; and improves the life of the battery pack.
