成果简介	NOVELTY - Extracting oil from Delonix regiaseeds using microwave irradiation comprises: (a) pre-treating the seeds by cleaning, drying and grinding; (b) subjecting the prepared seed mixture to microwave-assisted extraction at 300-700 W for 10-30 minutes; (c) recovering the extracted oil by separating the solvent through filtration and distillation. USE - Method for extracting oil from Delonix regiaseeds using microwave irradiation. ADVANTAGE - The method is energy efficient, and environment-friendly, efficiently ensures maximum yield while minimizing energy consumption and solvent waste; reduces processing time, and cost-effective. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for producing biodiesel from Delonix regiaseed oil extracted by microwave-assisted extraction which comprises: (a) performing transesterification of the extracted oil with methanol or ethanol in the presence of a catalyst; (b) separating the glycerine from the biodiesel; and (c) purifying the biodiesel by washing, drying, and filtering to meet fuel standards.
