USE - (Z)-2-(benzyl (substituted phenyl) amino)-5-(4-nitrobenzylidene) thiazol-4(5H)-one compounds used as anticancer agent in a subject (claimed), for treatment of cancer, e.g., breast cancer and cervical cancer. ADVANTAGE - The (Z)-2-(benzyl (substituted phenyl) amino)-5-(4-nitrobenzylidene) thiazol-4(5H)-one compound exhibits high yield and purity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - (Z)-2-(benzyl (substituted phenyl) amino)-5-(4-nitrobenzylidene) thiazol-4(5H)-one compounds of formula (I), or its salt, are new. R1=H, halogen, -NO2, optionally substituted 1-3C alkyl and OR2; R2=H, optionally substituted 1-3C alkyl; and m=integer ranging from 1-3. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: 1. a process of preparing (Z)-2-(benzyl (substituted phenyl) amino)-5-(4- nitrobenzylidene) thiazol-4(5H)-one compounds of (I); and 2. a pharmaceutical composition, which comprises: (Z)-2-(benzyl (substituted phenyl) amino)-5-(4-nitrobenzylidene) thiazol-4(5H)-one compounds of (I), and excipients. |
