成果简介NOVELTY - The inverter (100) has a direct current (DC) source (102) configured to provide an input DC voltage such that a DC current flows in the inverter. A diode (104) is configured to facilitate flow of the DC current in a direction in the inverter. A set of switching circuits (106a-106f) is configured in the inverter such that a pair of switching circuits from the set of switching circuits are configured to operate in a complementary pattern, where the set of switching circuits regulates flow of the DC current in the inverter. A capacitor (108) is provided with capacitance comprising a value of 1000 microfarads (µF), where the voltage associated with the DC source lies in a range of 60 Volts to 100 Volts. USE - Multilevel inverter for a solar photovoltaic system for low- and medium-power applications, renewable energy systems, and electric vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The inverter provides a compact, efficient, and cost-effective solution for generating multilevel alternating current (AC) outputs with fewer components and reduced voltage stress. The inverter is well-suited for applications requiring high-efficiency power conversion. The inverter reduces the voltage stress on individual transistors, extends lifespan and improving efficiency. The inverter realizes lower switching losses and reduced stress on components lead to higher power conversion efficiency.
