成果简介NOVELTY - Producing biofuel comprises: (a) isolating a microalgae strain from an aquatic environment using nutrient enriched media; (b) sub-culturing the microalgae strain to obtain a microalgae biomass; (c) increasing lipid content of the microalgae biomass by optimizing growth conditions in a wastewater-based cultivation; and (d) applying a lipid extraction technique selected from chemical or mechanical methods to obtain biofuel. USE - Method for producing biofuel using microalgae biomass. ADVANTAGE - The method sub-cultures isolated microalgae strain efficiently, enables the production of sufficient microalgae biomass necessary for subsequent lipid accumulation and extraction, enhances the lipid content of microalgae biomass by optimizing various growth conditions, improves the overall yield and quality of lipids for enhanced biofuel production, and contributes to sustainable biofuel production by utilizing wastewater as a cultivation medium for microalgae, and reduces environmental impact while promoting resource recovery and energy generation.
