| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The trap has a funnel-shaped structure provided with a wide upper opening and narrow base, designed to guide insects into the trap and prevent escape. An outer surface includes color attractants, primarily yellow and blue, to visually lure insects. A pheromone lure is placed inside the trap to emit olfactory signals that attract insects. Inner walls are coated with a non-toxic adhesive for capturing insects upon contact. Solar panels mounted on the trap power an LED light system for attracting nocturnal insects. USE - Bio-based flying trap for capturing harmful insects e.g. fruit flies, aphids, and moths, that cause damage to crops. ADVANTAGE - The trap leverages natural attractants, sustainable materials, and energy-efficient mechanisms to offer a viable solution for capturing and controlling harmful insects without relying on chemical interventions. The trap is constructed from biodegradable materials, is easy to install, refill, and reuse, and includes wireless connectivity for real-time monitoring of pest populations. Multiple traps can be connected wirelessly for enabling farmers to monitor pest populations and infestation levels through a mobile application. The trap helps farmers make informed pest management decisions, and reduces the need for frequent pesticide applications and allows for proactive response to pest outbreaks.
