| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Sustained multicomponent composition comprises: 20-80 wt.% (S)-9-fluoro-2,3-dihydro-3-methyl-10-(4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)-7-oxo-7H-pyrido[1,2,3-de]-1,4-benzoxazine-6-carboxylic acid; and 20-80 wt.% form of coformers, where the differential scanning calorimetry of cocrystal is 137-180℃; 2- theta value of cocrystal is 5-27°. USE - Sustained multicomponent composition of levofloxacin. ADVANTAGE - The composition gives highly water-soluble drug levofloxacin with reduce cost of expensive S.R. excipients in sustained released tablet manufacturing; and provides a synergistic effect of levofloxacin drug using nutritional coformer with decrease side effect; enhances the solubility and bioavailability of levofloxacin, making it a more effective therapeutic agent. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a process for preparation of a sustained multicomponent composition comprising: grinding (S)-9-fluoro-2,3-dihydro-3-methyl-10-(4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)-7-oxo7H-pyrido[1,2,3-de]-1,4-benzoxazine-6-carboxylic acid and coformers together in mortar pest; adding required quantity of solvent to form a multi component system; mixing them using pestle for at least 1 hour to form multi component systems or until the solvent is evaporated; collecting the bulk or powder mixer and storing in vacuum free environment for complete drying. |
