成果简介	NOVELTY - The harvester has a control panel for managing harvester functions comprising of three speed regulators each to separately manage speed of a cutter bar, reel and propelling unit of the harvester respectively. The panel comprises three direct current (DC) switches to control a power supply for the cutter bar, the reel and a propelling unit and three digital meters for monitoring voltage and current of each unit. Two push buttons (23, 24) is provided such that one button is provided for a horn and another button is provided for a light and a key socket for starting and stopping the harvester. USE - Battery-operated cumin harvester for harvesting cumin crop used as additive in food. ADVANTAGE - The harvester has ability to collect the harvested crop in the collector unit and drop the harvested crop at a desired location. The harvester is designed to operate on battery power contributing to environmental sustainability. The harvester can be easily steered using a clutch lever for enhanced maneuverability. The harvester minimizes losses, and reduces labor, drudgery and cost of harvesting. The harvester increases a level of mechanization in cumin harvesting.
