USE - The system is useful for electricity generation in wetlands utilizing microbial activity (claimed) and as a powerful tool for both renewable energy production and environmental conservation. ADVANTAGE - The system: utilizes the MFCs that are designed in a modular configuration, allowing for the integration of multiple units to scale electricity generation based on varying energy needs and the anodes are constructed from conductive materials that enhance the electron transfer efficiency during the microbial metabolic processes; and enhances wetland health by promoting natural decomposition processes and nutrient cycling, thus supporting biodiversity and ecosystem services. |
