| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The system has a single direct current (DC) input source for providing a base voltage (Vdc). A modular unit (MU) with a transistor-clamped H-bridge arrangement produces a thirteen-level output voltage by switching through multiple levels. A set of capacitors are coupled to the input source, where each capacitor maintains a voltage level of Vdc. A series of complementary switch pairs achieves self-balancing of voltages across capacitors during operation without requiring external balancing circuits. The MU comprises a bi-directional switch configured as a transistor. USE - Single-source thirteen-level inverter (SSTLI) system for solar photovoltaic (PV) applications. Can also be used in fuel cell applications, residential and commercial applications. ADVANTAGE - The SSTLI streamlined design results in a reduced number of components and lower voltage stress on individual switches, enhancing efficiency and durability. The inverter enables the inverter to efficiently convert lower voltage DC outputs from fuel cells into usable alternating current (AC) levels without needing additional step-up converters. This direct conversion capability simplifies the system design, reduces energy losses, and enhances the overall efficiency of the power conversion process, making the system particularly well-suited for applications requiring reliable and efficient voltage management. Fewer components lead to lower manufacturing costs, easier maintenance, and potentially higher reliability during operation. By simplifying the design, the system not only decreases the potential points of failure but also makes it more cost-efficient for deployment in commercial and residential energy systems.
