| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Solar still comprises: a) an inlet port for sending impure water into an impure water container; b) a transparent glazing surface mounted inside the solar still container; c) an internal mirror boosted surface mounted inside the transparent glazing surface; and d) a freshwater collection chamber mounted below the impure water container. The internal mirror boosted surface reflects additional sunlight directly onto the impure water and boosts the evaporation rate and creating pure water collected in the freshwater collection chamber after water vapour condensed in droplets and poured in freshwater collection chamber. USE - Solar still. ADVANTAGE - The solar still harness the power of the sun to purify water in a sustainable and efficient way. The strategically placed internal mirror surface reflects additional sunlight directly onto the water in the basin. This concentrated solar energy significantly boosts the evaporation rate compared to traditional solar stills. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of operation of a solar still, which involves: a) sending impure water through an inlet port into an impure water container; b) mounting a transparent glazing surface inside the solar still container; and c) mounting an internal mirror boosted surface inside the transparent glazing surface. |
