成果简介	NOVELTY - The terminal has a main body inserted into an insulating gasket (300). A first flange radially extending outward from the main body near its first end, and engaged with a first insulating flange of the gasket and a second flange configured to radially extend outward from main body, and adapted to clamp a second insulation flange against an inner surface of a terminal holding portion of a cylindrical can (400) to facilitate hermetic sealing of the can at its corresponding end. The flanges are connected with variable thickness from an inner circumference towards an outer circumference of the flange. USE - Electrode terminal for a cylindrical battery cell i.e. lithium-ion battery cell, for use in consumer electronics, electric vehicles and energy storage applications. ADVANTAGE - The terminal enhances crimping of the electrode terminal against the cylindrical can via the insulating gasket, thus providing hermetic contact of the gasket against the can of the battery cell, and hence ensuring a secure mechanical connection between the terminal and the can during long time use, and repeated temperature and pressure fluctuations inside the cell. The terminal is reliable and easy to manufacture, and prevents entry of contaminants into the cell in an efficient manner.
