成果简介	NOVELTY - The bed has a base made of biodegradable or recycled materials with ensure flotation, and plant trays filled with an aerated nutrient-rich growing medium. The growing medium of the bed includes organic materials including compost, coconut coir, and charcoal to eliminate toxic waste for promoting healthy plant growth while ensuring moisture retention and aeration. The bed is scaled for various applications from small urban balcony gardens to large agricultural plots, providing flood-resistant growing solution for diverse environments. The use of eco-friendly and bio-degradable materials for construction of the bed minimizes environmental impact, supporting sustainable agricultural practices. USE - Floating seed bed for growing crops e.g. vegetables, grains, and herbs in small-scale balcony gardens and large farms, in flood-prone regions. ADVANTAGE - The floating structures allow plants to grow in environments that experience frequent flooding, thus providing a resilient solution to safeguard crops against water damage. The growing medium allows the plant roots to receive sufficient oxygen and nutrients, thus preventing the adverse effects of water logging. The bed remains buoyant during floods, and prevents crops from being submerged or waterlogged. The aerated growing medium ensures adequate root oxygenation even in high water conditions. The combination of lightweight nutrient-rich materials e.g. coconut coir and compost, ensures sustained nutrient availability. The bed can be adapted to different plant species including vegetables, grains, and herbs, and can be scaled for small-scale balcony gardens and large farms. The eco-friendly materials are made of biodegradable or recycled materials, thus ensuring minimal environmental impact.
