| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - A compact carbon dioxide capturing device has an intake section with a vacuum pump to pull ambient air into system, for controlling flow to avoid excess carbon dioxide reaction using pressure-sensitive valves, a collector section, where incoming carbon dioxide reacts with calcium hydroxide to form a calcium carbonate solution, a filter to separate impurities and allow solid calcium carbonate collection, and a storage unit for carbon dioxide, configured to enable collection, filtration and storage of captured carbon dioxide. USE - Compact and modular carbon dioxide capturing device used in carbon dioxide collection and processing system and self-sustaining carbon dioxide recycling system for installation in confined urban spaces, such as rooftops, office buildings and residential complexes (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The carbon dioxide capturing and recycling system is compact, energy-efficient, and self-sustaining device for capturing atmospheric carbon dioxide using chemical process involving calcium hydroxide. The system is suitable for urban environments, can be powered by renewable energy (e.g. solar power), and provides a sustainable solution for addressing carbon emissions while offering the potential for commercial utilization of stored carbon dioxide. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a carbon dioxide collection and processing system, which has a collector configured to chemically react air-borne carbon dioxide with calcium hydroxide, yielding a calcium carbonate solution, a heating unit, positioned to receive the calcium carbonate and heat to a temperature of 750-850°C, decomposing calcium carbonate into calcium oxide and releasing purified carbon dioxide gas, a cooling tower which condenses water vapor from the heating output, allowing carbon dioxide to be redirected to storage while returning water to the system cycle; and (2) a self-sustaining carbon dioxide recycling system, which has a rechargeable unit which receives condensed water from the cooling tower, an automatic feeder to reintroduce calcium hydroxide formed by mixing water with calcium oxide, enabling continuous reuse of chemicals in the carbon dioxide capturing process. |
